Job Purpose
Orange Cyberdefense (OCD) is the B2B activity dedicated to cybersecurity within the Orange group.
Established in ten countries, mainly in Western Europe but also in Africa and Asia, OCD targets a diversified clientele, from the middle market, to major national accounts and multinationals. We provide multi-domain expertise and managed security services to meet all the cybersecurity needs of our most demanding customers.
Within Global Operations, the “Infrastructures and Shared Services (ISS)” department ensures that the SOC, CyberSOC and Global CERT teams have the best IT services in all our geographies.
ISS systems such as Ticketing, Monitoring, customer portals, automation tools (XSOAR/AWX), DevOps tools, CI/CD chains and hybrid-cloud infrastructures are essential to achieve our ambitions.
As “Product Owner - Automation”, you will be instrumental in defining and driving our automation strategy for managed security services. Working closely with the team of Automation Engineers as well as the Automation Architect, your focus will be on XSOAR and AWX automation platforms, ensuring they align seamlessly with our business objectives and enhance the efficiency of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- “Automation Strategy” Develop and communicate an automation strategy that is tightly aligned with the company's business goals and customer requirements.
- “Platform Ownership” Take charge of the XSOAR and AWX automation platforms, overseeing their utilization, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Ensure that the automation platforms meet industry standards, comply with relevant regulations and are aligned with the OCD security strategy.
- “Continuous Improvement” Work together with the “Continuous Improvement” department and the business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our services and applications as well as to understand requirements and prioritize backlog items.
- “Collaboration” Work closely with the End to End Optimisation Lab´s automation engineers and architects, the ISS Chief architect and other relevant teams to make informed design and architecture decisions for automation solutions.
- “Agile Leadership” Manage our agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Ensure the team's work aligns with the product vision.
- “Stakeholder Management” For given CI requests, engage with key internal stakeholders, including department heads and security analysts, to gather feedback, understand needs, and communicate progress.
- “Product Documentation” Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, ensuring knowledge is shared and easily accessible within the team.
- “Risk Management” Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation processes, ensuring the security and reliability of managed security services.
Reporting line of the role
You directly report to the “Head of End to End Optimization Lab”
Information Security Responsibilities
In line with all roles at Orange Cyberdefense, this role must comply with the Information Security policies and procedures in place at the time, as specified in the Orange Cyberdefense Information Security Management System.
Skills & Experience
- “Education” Masters's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- “Proven Experience” Minimum of 4 years of experience in a product owner or similar role, preferably within our organization or a similar IT/security environment.
- “Technical Background” Strong technical understanding of automation platforms, scripting languages, and security technologies. Familiarity with XSOAR and AWX is a significant advantage.
- “Agile/Scrum Expertise” Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering successful outcomes.
- “Communication Skills” Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- “Problem-Solving” Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- “Leadership” Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals.
